Dr Sen has 25 years experience as a Physician and in Health Administration in a large Public Sector Organization.

Dr Anjana Sen was Deputy Chief Medical Officer in ONGC when she took voluntary retirement in July 2004. Dr Sen has been in Clinical practice for 25 years having obtained the MBBS degree from Lady Hardinge Medical College, Delhi in 1978 and a Diploma in Ophthalmology from Delhi University in 1982. Her vast experience in dealing with human emotions comes from the background of practice of General Medicine in Smt Sucheta Kriplani Hospital, Kalawati Saran Hospital and Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in Delhi, Rajawadi Hospital at Mumbai, ONGC Hospital, Dehradun and ONGC Health Centre, Baroda.

Dr. Sen took keen interest in Hospital Administration and Health Planning for ONGC in capacity of Executive Assistant to Chief Medical Services from 1997 to 2004. Keeping abreast with advancing technology she was an active member of the team spearheading the computerization of Hospital Information Systems and promotion of Telemedicine.

The knowledge of Medicine, Neurophysiology and experience with Human Psychology helped in the astute comprehension of the subject of Emotional Intelligence. Dr. Sen is a regular speaker on Emotional Intelligence in relation with Managerial Effectiveness, Productivity, Creativity and Leadership. She holds workshops for Hospital Personnel on Empathy, Teamwork and Self Awareness.
